Equine Basic Arthroscopy Course

Friday, 25th October 2024 and Saturday, 26th October 2024
at Pferdeklinik Burg Müggenhausen

Dear colleagues,

we would like to invite you to participate to our basic arthroscopy course. This extensive hands on practical course will give you the opportunity to learn the surgical technique of equine arthroscopy guided by highly experienced instructors. We provide valuable lectures, video demonstrations and we will practice arthroscopies in small groups only with 2 members per arthroscopy tower. The instructors are going to teach you the basic instrumentation and principles of equine arthroscopy and the extensive wet-lab sessions will provide substantial time for practice. Everyone will perform a standard arthroscopic procedure in the joint and tendon sheath with professional guidance.

Course language will be English.

The working stations and instruments are kindly provided by the Arthrex company.

The Academy for Continuous Veterinary Education (Akademie für Tierärztliche Fortbildung, ATF) will credit this course with 13 ATF hours.

At Friday evening, we will organize a get together and dinner.

Due to the small number of participants, we recommend a short-term registration.
